My focus is treating adults in their 20s and 30s create a happier and fulfilling life by living from your authentic self. There is no need to hide who you are. Most people I treat have some of the building blocks of the life they want. Certain pieces are in place such as: what might be considered “a good job”, financial freedom, a friend group, an intimate relationship, social activities, or some combination of these. However, there remains feelings of loneliness, detachment, emptiness, and/or anxiety. Some clients experience repetitive questions – What is my purpose? What is the point of all of this? Am I good enough? Am I a “fake”? At times, these thoughts and feelings are pushed aside and other times they are all-consuming.
I’m here to tell you, it does not have to be this way. Together we will create increased self-understanding by talking through the emotions or life stressors, past and present, which impact you.
Through therapy you can decrease self-judgements and your judgements of others to build on your positive actions, thoughts, and feelings. You can learn new ways of speaking and listening which fosters improved communications, and thus, relationships in all aspects of your life. This will help you feel more joyful, grounded, and connected each and every day.
My approach is empathetic, compassionate, and involved. I use evidence based treatments such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness. Along with various treatments, I place the utmost importance on building a safe and collaborative space for you to express your inner most thoughts and feelings so that your growth can occur. The relationship we build together is the foundation of therapeutic change.

Life coaching focuses on present and the future and less on the past. Together we will be solutions oriented to help you achieve the identified goal you are working towards. There is no need to explore the roots of the your roadblocks in coaching, we will focus on the external issues and put action steps in place.
Life is busy! We have career obligations, children, other family members to tend to, social lives, volunteer work, and/or education (not to mention LA traffic). Any one of these can cause a cancelation of a much needed therapy or coaching session. That is why I offer online or phone sessions. I want my clients to feel connected even if they cannot make it to the office or simply prefer not to travel.
For psychotherapy, I use an online platform which is HIPPA compliant for your privacy (www.doxy.me) or phone sessions. I am licensed in both California and New York and see clients in both locations online as well as internationally.
For coaching, any online platform works (FaceTime, Skype, etc.) as well as phone sessions and I am able to work with anyone in the US or internationally.
